My Christmas Stars

I was volunteering at a Christmas event nine years ago and randomly met Audrey and Keilany, these two adorable little girls that have stayed in my life for nine years. We've skated at Central Park, gone to Coney Island on a lark, celebrated birthdays, made Christmas cookies, went on Easter egg hunts, had dinner theme nights, debated for hours on which movie we'd watch that night, laughed, cried, discussed dreams and the day to day, and many more happenings and activities along the way. They are now young women, and we're still like family. There was a reason that I met these special little girls, and when I think of all the joy we've shared, my heart simply swirls.
